Volunteer Opportunities

When you make a difference in a patient’s life, it’s all that matters.

The Volunteer Program at Nationwide Children’s Hospital has a variety of opportunities. For teens. For adults. For all interested in volunteering in a hospital environment.

Refer to the Interested in Volunteering section to find out more information regarding opportunities for adultscollege students and teens or to see how our application process works.

Our current volunteers have their own area to do annual retraining, refer to the handbook for questions, get the latest program updates, or request time off.

Thinking of making a donation? Go to the Wish List to find out great ideas for gifts to buy. There is even a link to let us do the shopping—how easy is that! For those creative types, there are ideas for gifts to make and donate.

We value our children's and your safety and therefore we must comply with Senate Bill 187. This legislation (SB 187) requires organizations to notify a prospective applicant at the time of initial application that the person may, at any time, be subject to a criminal records check.
